My partner and I enjoyed our wedding night here, and the location was perfect for walking to nearby parks and landmarks like Calton Hill and the Royal Mile, making our explorations stress-free and memorable. we loved the spacious and beautifully presented room that featured a comfy bed and a wonderful freestanding bath, which was a delight after a day of strolling through the city. As a couple, we found it easy to come and go from the hotel, which is close to plenty of great restaurants and bars.

Just a fine choice for a lightning stop in Edinburgh with excellent value for money. The room was small but still cozy, and it had a beautifully decorated bathroom.

Request a room upgrade early, as the deluxe options are significantly more spacious and comfortable than the classic double.

The charming historical decor truly enchants, with elegant touches that made me feel regal while exploring the hotel. The staff's attentiveness and kind support made getting around a breeze, even for someone needing a little extra help.

I recently spent a night at Hotel Du Vin in Edinburgh. The character of the hotel captivated me right from check-in. The decor radiated charm, adding a unique touch to my stay. My room boasted a beautiful roll-top bath next to the bed, which I absolutely loved. I felt so relaxed soaking in it after a long day of exploring the city. The amenities were upscale, with effective soundproofing. I barely heard any noise from outside. Breakfast in the bistro was noteworthy. freshly baked pastries and tasty options filled the menu. I particularly enjoyed the attentive service during breakfast – it made the experience feel special. the lift access proved inconvenient. My room was located on an upper floor, requiring a few flights of stairs which could be tough for some. I encountered some confusion with my online check-in. Although the staff offered assistance, it was a bit frustrating. Outside of that minor hiccup, my stay was lovely and I'm considering returning soon. The charm, comfort, and quality of service really stood out for me.

We had a wonderful family stay with a spacious suite and a lovely in-room bath my daughter adored. The hotel is just a short walk from the shops on Princes Street, making it convenient for a little family exploration.
In my wife’s opinion, the menu selection could be improved for kids, especially with more casual dining options available.

The central location made it easy to explore the area. The staff demonstrated courtesy and helpfulness throughout our stay.
The room, while clean, felt rather basic in decor.
